The Scarlet Letter "A"

    The Scarlet letter is novel about the suffering of Hester Prynne. It is written by Nathaniel Hawthorne in 1850. The book The scarlet letter A is consider as "masterwork" by    Nathaniel Hawthorne.There are some main characters in the novel as under,    

     Hester.                  
     Pearl.                  
     Chillingworth
     Arthur Dimmesdale.

       She has to suffer because of our social customs and male domain society. It is about that how a woman has to do many things for survival. Hester is strong character that without any help by others she earn money and living with her daughter. All the people tell or talk about Hester and her child yet she lives her life. In gujarati there is one line "jer na ghutada".

        So this type of situation is like that. But in the end she accepted by her lover.  Generally, human beings are craving for love, but her husband is not with her and because of that situation she has affair with other. And in our society it is sin, so she punished. Thus, it is good described novel.
