Mayore of Casterbridge

    The novel Mayore of Caster bridge is written by Thomas Hardy. "The Life and Death of a Man of Character" is a subtitle of the novel. The book is one of Hardy's Wessex novels, all set in a fictional rural England.

In the begging of the novel Michael Henchard sold his wife and daughter in the obsession of Alcohol. And he vowed that he will not take alcohol anymore. Then their life go on different directions. Michael Henchard become a Mayor of caster bridge letter on in the novel. After eight years he met to his daughter and wife.

            So, this story become complicated. And his daughter fall in love with the somebody. So , this novel has its different story as compare to other.
