Soliloquy word is Closely related to "Monologue". The word Soliloquy is used in play or drama. Sometime a long Speech Given by one Person is called a "Soliloquy"or "MonoLogue". These both words have one common things, that, In both long Speech can be come by some person on the stage but there is a big different that a Speaker speaking While "Monologue" can be addressed to other people". It is a monologue and "Soliloquy, the speaker is always taking to himself or herself".
So this is a big different between 'Soliloquy' and 'monologue'. Soliloquy word refers to long Speech Given by a person or man.

A Soliloquy is a popular literary device. The Soliloquy, the character or Speaker Speaks to himself, by doing so, the characters keeps these thoughts secret from the other characters of the play. A Soliloquy in a play is a great dramatic technique or tool that intends to reveals inner working of the character. It is used not only to convey the development of the play to the audience but also provides an opportunity to see inside the mind of certain character.
Soliloquy is sometimes wrong used where monologue is meant. Both words refer to 'a long Speech by one person'.

Soliloquy means Monologue but there is a big different between soliloquy and monologue. Soliloquy were frequently used in dramas but went out of fashion when drama shifted towards realism in the late 18th century.

There are many writers, who used Soliloquy in their works, one of them is William Shakespeare.
William Shakespeare made extensive use of Soliloquy in his plays but before Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe used Soliloquy in his works.
1)Hamlet's Soliloquy begins with "To be or not to be, that is the questions".
2)Macbeth Soliloquy we can see in some thoughts. Is this a dagger, and The , "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow".
3) In midsummer Night's dream "Bottom's Dream" is one type of Soliloquy.
So we can that ,There are so many Examples of Soliloquy. Soliloquy comes most in Elizabethan age and after realism in literature sometimes dowm fall Soliloquy.
