Sense and Sensibility

    The sense and sensibility novel written by Jane Austen. This is the story about three sisters whose father died. They are suffering because of being a woman. There are some main characters in the novel as under,

          Elinor, 
          Marianne,
          Margaret, 
          Edward,
          Willoughby, 
          colonel Brandon, etc.

 Elinor represents the sense while Marianne represents the sensibility. We can see how their life goes on in the novel. Different types of characters are represents in the novel some one is sensible, money minded, representing sense, etc. As in our real life also we can see those varieties in the characters. Main themes of the novel are marriage, love, human nature, etc. So from this novel we can learn that everyone has think differently it doesn't mean that one is right and another is wrong.

    Thus, it is a novel in which we can see the different relationship with each other. In the Gujrati language we can say that "sabandho na tana - vana ". For this novel this sentence is appropriate.
