MYTH

Readers,
                   
        What is a myth! this type of question if we ask to any critic we can not get exact answer from to them. Some of them try to avoid to give answer, some of them gives not answer, but  themselves not satisfied with their answer.

                        Myth is a narrative story; it touches the field of religion, folk lore society etc. In the seventeenth and eighteenth century the word "myth" used for fiction  but, later on the myth became equivalent to truth. According to modernist critic, "myth is an every branch of the world has one or more myth". Myth is spoken part of ritual. It is performed by priest. It is less or more connected with teaching and morality. Myth is common factor between religion and poetry. Myth is mode from religion and poetry made from myth Thus, myth is common factor.

Origin of myth:

                  somebody could see the origin of myth in the Sanskrit word "MYTH" which means mystery traditional story of rarely history. For literary theory the myth means an "image or picture". In short myth means narrative sequences through which a given culture ratifies. It's social atmosphere. It presented by supernatural.

For example., Ramayana, Mahabharata, paradise lost.

               The myth has a wide range of meanings which can be divided roughly into " rationalist and romantic versions". In the first myth is fales or reliable story or superior institutes made of cosmic understanding.

                        In the theory of literature they are explain in this way: myth is connected with retuals sometimes it is Synonyms of spoken part. we know the myth in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Myth is kind of story which pass over through one generation to other and sometimes it is evolved by an individual writer.

                                 A poet or a writer uses Myth in his Poem or novel to make it effective as well as sensitive. For myth a writer has to go to the legends religion's takes etc.
Some examples of myth:

                   we can tragedy of Shakespeare 'Hamlet' it is based on myth. In this tragedy the death of Hamlet's father and them to take revenge upon them. This type of attitude clearly see in the character of Hamlet. we can find myth two another comedy of Shakespeare. like, A midsummer night's dream and The Tempest, these kind of myth based works provides psychologic matters.

         The another good example of myth "Mobidick" which is written by Harman melwil.
The next good example of myth is Summer night.
"soon soon through dykes of our Conte, the rumpling flood will forle a ren, and taller than a free, Hold sudden death before our eyes, whose river dreams long hid the size, and vigorous of the see".
                                                
          In this poem the world Hood River dream is myth. So  we can say the myth is narrative story it touches the field of religion folk lore society etc.
