પ્રયાસોમાં છું હું, 

આજ- કાલ મને શોધવાના,

રોકશો નઈ મને કોઈ, 

એ રસ્તે ચાલવામાં.

પ્રયાસોમાં છું હું,

મૃગ જળને પામવાના,

રોકશો નઈ મને કોઈ,

એ રસ્તે ચાલવામાં.

કોઈ અંગતનેં મળવાના,

રોકશો નઈ મને કોઈ

         The poem "પ્રયાસ" is written by me. This poem reflects a journey of determination, introspection, and persistence. The repetition of "પ્રયાસોમાં છું હું" ("I am in the effort") in each stanza emphasizes the poet's unwavering resolve to pursue various goals, whether it's self-discovery, finding a personal connection, or overcoming inner battles.

The poem uses evocative imagery, like the pursuit of a "મૃગજળ" (mirage), to symbolize elusive aspirations. The Meeting Pool

              The Meeting Pool

   The Meeting Pool is an interesting Story of three friends Written by Ruskin Bond. The Entire story is narrated by Rusty. The story Meeting Pool is based on Pledge to return to their favourite  pool after ten years. There are three main characters in the story Rusty, Anil and Somi.

   The Writer has described the beauty of nature and Village Life. The Children from Village passing their time by buffalo riding , fishing , swimming in the pool and Wrestling. These all thing makes story more beautiful and intresting.

The Turning point of Story

      Rusty feel alone when he lost his friend, Somi joined Army School after passing Metric exam and Anil shifted Delhi with his family. Rusty remembered his childhood siting at meeting pool and missed his friends.

After Reading This story I remember The Movie "3 Idiots"  directed by Rajkumar Hirani. This movie also based on the life of three best friend.

     At the end of The Story "The meeting pool"Rust came after 10 years on 5th april at their meeting pool to see that  his friends came to keep their promise but nobody comes there and Rusty thought that they are busy with there life. But near their meeting pool there is another pool and there children are swimming and playing. Rusty imagined him in that children. So we can say that writer use child psychology in this story to write  about Village Life, nature and friendship.

Teachers

             The word "Teacher" derived from the Middle English word "techer".In recent Generation Teacher means what? A person who teaches,

especially in a school.( Google Dictionary) She/ he is working in education sector/field. Is it a real meaning of teacher? What you think? Is it right that we are hiding the word Teacher in the field of education?
Whether are we giving respect to the word teacher ? Or Just we respect the person who teach us in school , or Collage. What about those person( teacher) who unknowingly teach as many thing?

 

       એ વૃદ્ધ, અભણ માણસે પુછ્યું શું કરો છો? મે કહ્યુ શિક્ષક છું. તેણે જવાબ વળતા કહ્યુ એમા નવું શુ શિક્ષક તો હુ પણ છું. અભણ માણસ એમ કહે હુ પણ શિક્ષક છું , એટ્લે થોડી નવાઈ લાગી. ત્યાં એનાં પ્રશ્નો નો મારો.. સાહેબ નીહાર (નિશાળ) મા ભણાવે એને જ સાહેબ(શિક્ષક) કેહવાય? કે પછી એ બધા વ્યક્તિ કે વસ્તુ જે આપણને કંઇક શીખવાડે એને શિક્ષક કેહવાય? થોડો અઘરો પ્રશ્ન પૂછીને ચાલતા થયા. હું થોડો ગૂંચવાતો વિચારવા લાગ્યો.

   As a Learner  there are many questions raise in my mind like..
  - Can any new born baby teach us something?
   - Any deadbody Can teach us Somthing?
     - How we learn our mother tongue?

    We learn our mother tougne by our parents, family members, So can we call them our teachers?  A starting from birth to a last stage of death can teach u something But we have no time.

     'Teacher' is the word,we find it in every  day life we cannot see but have to feel it. Every single movementin our life, May be it is positive Or negative.Teacher gives will power to face the problems In proper way.

    After all i came to know that each and every person teaching sometime to us. But we have busy life so we are not concentrate on them.

The Bet

                   "The Bet"

     How one can agree to sacrifice his life's fifteen years without anything just for money. The Bet is the story written by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. He was a Russian playwright and short story writer. The Bet is story of young Lowyer and  Banker.

1)Which is more important money or Freedom?
2)What is the Role of books in our life?
3)Loneliness help us to develop our self?
4)Which is more Humane? Capital punishment or  life imprisonment !

   Title of the story is The bet, it means there is bet in the story that stakes a banker's two million rubles and fifteen years of a young Lowyer's life. 

Capital punishment.

    In the party Banker argued that capital punishment more Humane than life imprisonment
While young Lowyer disagree that he choose life imprisonment rather than death. And arguments became more heated.

   The banker gave challenge to Lowyer and he accept the challenge. There are many rules of The bet like, The Lowyer was imprisoned in banker's gardern House. No visitors, no letter, no news paper. But he can write letters, read book whatever he want.

    The banker observed the progress of young Lowyer how he passed his time. In first year he read fight books and play piano and after that he increase his interest in Reading, Literature , History, philosophy, Theology.
 
      At the end of the story writer describe the Condition of human mind, What happened when we don't have  other options. When banker came to know that now lawyer win the bet he decided to kill him.
But now money is not matter for Lowyer and he want to leave banker's house before time.
 
   Who win the bet Banker who decide to kill Lowyer or Lowyer who decide to leave banker's house before time of bet.

Ruskin Bound  

        Ruskin Bound is an Indian author of birtish Literature. He was born in 19 may 1934. He spent his childhood in Jamnagar and Shimla. He received many awards in Literature like Sahitya Akadami   Award 1992 Padma  Shri 1999 And Padma Bhushan 2014.  Ruskin Bound is famous for Character of Rusty which is created by him. He created Rusty's character because he want to write his own past. Let's Discuss about One of his short story "The Night Train at Deoli".        

The Night Train at Deoli 

The Night Train at Deoli is story written by Ruskin Bond. It is story of one young boy and girl, Who is  selling cane baskets at Deoli station. The Author  of the story Vividly  decribe the beauty of the small  Railway station. There was  electric bulbs ,oil lamps and Jungle which give more beauty in the image of Railway station. There were many things like.. tea stall, a fruit vendor, and a few straw dogs.

                     On the Deoli Station the narrator of the story met with young girl selling cane baskets.The girl had a pale skin, shiny black hair and dark and expressive eyes. 

     "Do you want a basket?" she asked. "They are made of the finest cane... "                                                     

                He attracted by her charm. He met with her only twice but he has desire to meet her again and again. He want to spend whole day on the Deoli Station but he can't.  At the end of the story narrator said that if it is a movie or play than I'm able to change the end. So we can say that it is story of the feelings of narrator.

   Introduction of Norah Bruke. 

                             My Brother, My Brother is a story written by Norah Burke. She was born in Bedford on August 2, 1997. Her parents lived in India for many years - returned to India when the baby Norah was only two months Old. Her father George Burke ,was a forest officer that's why she spent the next twelve years traveling around the jungle at the foothills of the Himalayas where her father Redmond st. George Burke, was a forest officer with the imperial forest service. She started writing at the age of eight. She wrote eleven books, including Dark road, of which many recorded her early adventures.

      Story: My Brother My Brother

                'My Brother My Brother' is a story of a one young brave boy.There are many characters in the story like Sher Singh , his little brother Kunwar and their mother. The story 'My Brother My Brother' is all about the condition of tribal and poor people who lived in jungle. We know that they don't have facilities of hospitals or any kind of vehicle. 

            In the beginning of the story we find that Sher Singh's Brother' is suffering from pain in his stomach. Sher singh was only twelve years old and his brother was younger than Sher singh. There are many Brother's and sisters of Sher singh but they were dead, carried off by cholera and influenza. Now there was only two of them. Sher singh and kuwar. When his mother said that "He must be carried to the hospital at kalaghat.' (original dialog from Story My Brother My Brother). Than Sher singh came to know that his brother kuwar is dying and Hospital is the last option for jungle peoples.

     Sher singh carried his brother to the  hospital of Kalagath, on the way of Hospital he faced many  problem. There was no road in the jungleHe has to cross two river without any support and he did it. He did not care himself and tries hard to save his younger Brother's life. At the end of the story when we wake up he finds that he is in the hospital and doctors said that..  'you are the boy who brought the child in from Laldwani? ..'Yes'..Then a smile broke all  over the doctor's great gentle face. Sher singh bahadur! He said. Your brother will live. Come and see.

                                

     So we can say that this is the story of young brave boy Sher singh and he is real sher Singh bahadur. The story is written on the  experience of writer.

       1). Feminist reading of Harmione’s character in Harry Potter: How do the character portrayal of Harmione and other female characters support feminist discourse?

               

         She is strong, warrior and intelligent as compare to Harry because he is sensitive rather than Hermione. And yet the main character is Harry not Hermione because we are habituated to looking main character as hero (male), so, these are some points through which we can think about it.

   2) Children’s Literature and Harry Potter: How far does J K Rowling transcends the canonical confines of children’s literature and claims the heights of ‘real’ literature?
   

     We can't deny that it is not children literature because there are many qualities of children literature like child hero, use of fantasy, moral after story, same structure in all the parts, etc. So from these many points it is children literature. But it is not only it, there are many other valuable things in it like it is about love, death, relationship, human behavior, etc. And we can also apply many theories in it. So, it is more than children literature.

3). Moral and Philosophical reading of Harry Potter: How does the concept of ‘evil breeds evil’ unfold in Harry Potter? What is the significance of Harry being one of the Horcruxes?

           "Evil breeds evil" it means Harry Potter can able to destroy woldemort because he is also one of the horcrux. It means Woldemort is within him and because of this thing he can able to destroy him. So, from this point it proofed that "evil breed’s evil". In Guajarati proverb "aag j aag ne olave".

What is literature?

How it shaped me?

    

           From last five years, I am reading literature and from that I come out as mature person. To reading literature is an intellectual activity, we have to think, connect and understand it. Through reading literature I can able to know about various behavior of person, able to know the human emotions and how to control it, etc. So, I can say that it is helpful to me.

                 

         But there are some questions raised in my mind regarding it. The person who can write best book of literature, obviously his/her understanding is very high and yet they commit suicide, why? Person who knows everything that what to do, and what not to do, after knowing both the things also they are doing wrong things, why?

         There are also some things regarding literature that when we don't know about deep understanding of literature at that time we are OK. But after knowing the harsh realities of our society through literature, we can't live life easily because it gives us uneasiness and in that point it proofed that "knowledge is course". We know everything that these many things are wrong or harmful for society and yet we are helpless. We can't do anything. And perhaps because of this reason some writers commit suicide.

 Literature leads us to be wiser but with that uneasiness also come.

 Literature is like hammer or potter which moulds our personality.

 It works like "Karela" that its taste is bitter but it is sweeter for health.

 Only the very weak-minded refuse to be influenced by literature and poetry.

Here is my response to the given task.

     
         1) What is the meaning of phrase ‘Blood Money’ in Veronica’s reply email?

   Answer:

      It is blood money because Mrs. Ford makes relationship with Adrin and gives birth of child...And that events harm to Veronica but for Mrs. Ford that is happiest movement. And Veronica replied in the mail that for her it's blood money.

    2) How do you decipher the equation: b = s – v x/+ a1 or a2 + v + a1 X s = b?

 Answer:

     Equation: 1) b= s-v x/+a1... First of all b means baby, s means Sarah, v means veronica, a1 means adrin, thus baby born.  2) A2+v+a1x s= b, a2 means tony, v means veronica, a1 means adrin, s means Sarah, b means baby, so baby born because of these person.

                                               

     3)Do you see any missing block – some dot which is not getting connected with the whole or dot missing to get full sense of the novel - in the plot of this psychological thriller?   

   Answer:        

        It is good description as psychological thriller. Through this we come to know that our memories are falsified, we think that this is right which I am thinking but it is not so. And when any evidence come at that time we feel that we are wrong...So, it creates whole picture of the novel. I never found any missing dots. After all it is good one.         

                    

        4) In the light of new revelations, how do you read character of Veronica? Instinctive, manipulative, calculating, stubborn, haughty, sacrificial, trustworthy, Good Samaritan? 

   Answer: 

         Veronica is sacrificial and trustworthy because she cares for Adrian yet he is child of her lover and her mother... Tony damaging her life yet she replied to Tony, so she is good person.

      5) How was Veronica related to Adrian, the one suffering in care-in-the-community?

   Answer: 

      Veronica related to Adrian because he is a son of her u mother, so in that connection she is a sister of Adrian who suffering in care in the community.

Here is my response to the given task.

       1) Brown states on his website that his books are not anti-Christian, though he is on a 'constant spiritual journey' himself, and says that his book The Da Vinci Code is simply "an entertaining story that promotes spiritual discussion and debate" and suggests that the book may be used "as a positive catalyst for introspection and exploration of our faith." 

Answer:

          Yes, it is not anti Christian book rather it established it or new concept. We can see discussions about religion but it is not anti. In the end of the novel that secret remains as it is. It is not reviled.

     3) (If)You have studied ‘Genesis’ (The Bible), ‘The Paradise Lost’ (John Milton) and ‘The Da Vinci Code’ (Dan Brown). Which of the narrative/s seem/s to be truthful? Whose narrative is convincing to the contemporary young mind?
Answer:

       Among these three, 'The Da Vinci Code' is convincing to the contemporary young mind because it represents truth with evidence and that point is important to convincing young mind, while in Genesis and The Paradise Lost we can't see it. So it is different than those two works.
              
     4) What harm has been done to humanity by the biblical narration or that of Milton’s in The Paradise Lose? What sort of damage does narrative like ‘The Vinci Code’ do to humanity?
Answer:

     This kind of works is harmful to society because it creates havoc and people can't accept the things which are subscribing in the work regarding our deep faith. And it creates havoc in society so it is harmful to humanity.
           
      5) What difference do you see in the portrayal of 'Ophelia' (Kate Winslet) in Kenneth Branagh'sHamlet, 'Elizabeth' (Helena Bonham Carter) in Kenneth Branagh's Mary Shelley's Frankenstein or 'Hester Prynne' (Demi Moore) in Roland Joffé's The Scarlet Letter' or David Yates's 'Harmione Granger' (Emma Watson) in last four Harry Potter films - and 'Sophie Neuve' (Audrey Tautau) in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code? How would justify your answer?
 Answer:  

     If we compare these five women characters like Ophelia, Elizabeth, Hester, Hermione and Sophie. So camera focuses on them as girl or portrayal their body as female while The Da Vinci Code is different than those other. Because there is no any single scene in the movie in which Sophie's body represents as a female.
 
       6) Do novel / film lead us into critical (deconstructive) thinking about your religion? Can we think of such conspiracy theory about Hindu religious symbols / myths? 

 Answer:

          Yes, we can also thinking critically about the religion of Hindu, there are some characters whom we consider as Godly figure like "Kunti" she is considered as good person and good mother. In Mahabharata she give birth to child before her marriage it means she has affair with anybody and because of that she become pregnant but this incident described as different which we can't accept logically. That child given by Sun, but how can it is possible? So, this is about one but there are many on whom we can think critically.
