तुझ से नाराज़ नहीं जिंदगी, हैरान हूँ मैं
तेरे मासूम सवालों से परेशान हूँ मैं

जीने के लिए सोचा ही नहीं, दर्द संभालने होंगे
मुस्कुराए तो, मुस्कुराने के कर्ज़ उतारने होंगे
मुस्कुराऊ कभी तो लगता है, जैसे होठों पे, कर्ज़ रखा है

जिंदगी तेरे गम ने हमें रिश्ते नये समज़ाए
मिले जो हमें , धूप में मिले छाँव  के ठन्डे साए

आज अगर भर आई हैं, बूंदे बरस जाएगी
कल क्या पता इन के लिए, आँखे तरस जाएगी
जाने कब गुम हुआ, कहा खोया, एक
आँसू, छुपा के रखा था

                            The song all about life and the way of living life and it's troubles. The very first line explains that the poet is not unhappy with his life but he is shocked with the circumstances of his life. The word "नाराज" and "हैरान" are used to explore the condition of the mind of people that how they reacts on such situations. The poet is feeling very stress with the questions which occurs by the life of him and he used the word "मासूम सवाल" he has given a metaphor to the problems of life by saying this and personify the questions as using innocent questions. The innocent word suggests that life is not aware with the evils of society.

                     Poet talks about pure life with not any bad experiences as he said that he has never thought that for live a better life he has to take pains though he doesn't deserve it, and if you smile you have to pay tears for it. After achieving maturity or after lived such years on earth we come to know about the problem of life and we come to know about the concept of pain and whenever we laugh we feel that if I am happy now I will have to be sad on another moment, and because of that we could not able to enjoy our happiness fully.
The words "मुस्कुराने के कर्ज" comes as figurative language here.

                 Poet tells life that her sorrows make him aware about the relations. And with the help of metaphors like धूप and छाँव he says that who have helped me in my troubles, they were like peaceful shadows for me in my bad days.

                 Further he has explained the relationships and how it develops. He says that today we have problems with such persons but it is temporary. The cloud of our ego will burst and all our hatrat will be vanished from our heart, but it should be on the right time because it may happen that we would not get another chance to repentance. The last line "जाने कब गुम हुआ कहा खोया एक आंसू छुपा के रखा था" suggests that you can not display your feelings, but the person can only feels it. The tears could not be an evidence of your feelings, poet tried to hide his tear so he could remember someone and tell that how he suffers but it's not possible to save or hide it, it's just realisation which helps us to move on.
